From two different walks of life, our paths crossed in the middle of a global pandemic. What started as a simple introduction quickly grew into a bond built on trust, respect, and a shared passion for the craft.
Chris took Mike under his wing, teaching him the art of barbering. Mike spent countless hours watching, learning, and studying every technique. After months of standing shoulder to shoulder, the two began working side by side—developing not only their skills, but a brotherhood rooted in loyalty and growth. That relationship evolved into a business partnership, built on a shared vision of raising the standard for men’s grooming.
Nearly a decade after Chris won first place in the Traditional category of the Long Island Barber Battle, Mike followed in his footsteps—earning the same title and continuing the legacy they built together.
That journey led to something even bigger: Journeymen Barber Lounge—a space that reflects our story, our standards, and our commitment to giving every client more than just a haircut—an experience.
